Chance Deason is certified as a civil trial specialist by the Tennessee Commission on Continuing Legal Education and Specialization and the National Board of Trial Advocacy. He limits his practice to injury cases (including auto accidents and workers' compensation) and social security disability.

There are over 15,000 lawyers in Tennessee. Of those, fewer than 2% are certified civil trial specialists. Any lawyer can advertise. Only an elite few have shown the experience and skill necessary to become certified specialists.
